Customer Reviews

Yes, they do stack :)

After looking everywhere I finally found these glasses on Amazon. I was worried that "stacked" they would not fit snugly together like my former set (another manu.).

They do. Very well made, 2 glasses stacked @ 7 1/4" +/- -- stacked 3 high @ 9 1/8" +/-.

Bormioli Rock Bar ROCKS!

The Bormioli Rocco Rock Bar collection is a boon for my kitchen, family and guests. I can store enough in my small cupboards to allow me to rinse and wait till the dishwasher is full to run, and still have enough for the next family meal or snack. For company I prefer not to use disposable products and this collection allows for enough glassware to be available for a crowd of guests! Thank you Bormioli and Amazon.

The 16.25 oz. glasses are perfect for the "big guys" with big hands. (I've sometimes wondered, watching guys reach for a glass of soda, if they feel they are living in a miniature world. Not with these glasses!) They are also perfect for smoothies, ice cream sodas, special sundaes.

The 12.5 oz. is perfect for that all purpose beverage with ice - water, soda. iced tea (yes, I know there are special glasses for that), or a big helping of juice.

The 9 oz. is the all-purpose glass for me. Not too much, not too little. I find I use this one most often. It is especially useful when you want to allow people to fill their glass, and ask for more; as opposed to fill a glass and not finish.

The 6.75 oz. juice glass is a standard in my household. Every youngster can get a good grip on this glass and enjoy a beverage.

The 2.5 oz. shot glass is, I thought, of little use to me, but I recently picked up a set on sale at a local store. Why? They are too cute. I recently used one for a granddaughter who wanted a drink of water at bedtime. It worked. I'll come up with some other uses --- how about filling with dip for small snack before bedtime?

Then there's the 13.25 oz. double old-fashioned glass. Have not purchased these yet. They feel like a shorter version of the 16.25 oz. glass; a good feel for those with bigger hands or perfect for a short cocktail. Envision it to be perfect for a Manhattan-on-the-rocks.

Bottom line is, for me, this line of glasses is so good that I spent all this time to talk about it.

Good Product for the Price

These glasses seem durable, stack well, have a good feel in the hand, and are a good size. Altogether a very decent product for every-day use, at a very reasonable price.

UPDATE: More than a year of heavy use later, not one of these glasses has broken or chipped!

Perfect for me

These glasses store very compactly because they stack. They separate easily and do not stick together, unlike other glasses I've tried stacking. I thought I would prefer a more streamlined shape, but like this shape a lot now that I've used it. The glass fits securely in the hand - easy to grip and no chance of slipping out. The heft is a nice medium weight, solid but not heavy. They are tempered glass. One of mine broke in shipping and instead of dangerous slivers it was dozens of small, roundish pieces. I also have the rocks and the juice sizes. Hope this product stays available for years.

These are very nice. Have had a set of an earlier style for years.

Great Set of Glasses!

I just received my order of Bormioli glasses and am really happy with this purchase. The glasses are nicely styled and have a reasonable weight to them. I ordered the 16 oz., the rock glasses and the juice size and the proportions are much better than they appear on the screen. I had some concerns about the 16 oz being too large/bulky, but they turned out to be a great size. Very glad I got them instead of the 12 oz. They stack well and are very easy to get apart without any twisting. Amazon delivered in two days and I'm happy to report that the glassware all arrived in one piece. For the money, I think these are a very good deal.

They are nice glasses.

It seems almost silly to be reviewing drinking glasses, but since I used the reviews to make my own decision, I thought it only fair to contribute.

I purchased a set of 6 each of the 16 oz, 12.5 oz and 6 oz (juice) versions of these glasses. They are sturdy, good looking glasses and I really like the fact that they are stackable and I can literally fit them in 1/2 the cupboard space as a result. I don't feel hesitant to stack them as I have more fragile glasses in the past.

I would suggest the product without reservation.

the only glasses I have left

I've lived with some ridiculously clumsy people, myself included, and these 6 glasses are the only ones I have left, out of a couple dozen. Not one has broken. Also, they're pretty and stackable. So, if I had lots of glasses still, they wouldn't take up too much room.

Great product, great price

What can you say about a kitchen glass. There are thousands to choose from at many different price points.

For years I've purchased cheap glasses from Costco. I discovered on Amazon a tempered glass from France, purchased a few sets and loved them. It's hard to explain how a glass can be so much better...but the fact that they stack, stay clear, feel great in your hand and are strong made them attractive. However, these glasses are expensive.

Enter the Rocco tempered glasses. These were less than half the cost of the French glasses, have all the positive qualities in a slightly different design. These are now my favorite glasses for drinking ice tea, soda, milk or any other beverage other than wine.

Treat yourself to something nice, it's a small risk and like me, you may find yourself ordering more and giving away your old glasses.
