Works Fine

Eyeglass straps are bewildering. No two are alike. I don't like most of them. Buying them in stores is an exercise in frustration. You rarely find more than one or two styles in an athletic store and some stores don't even carry them. Many are too loose and floppy. Many are very hard to attach to the glasses.

This style attaches easily to the glasses with flexible plastic loops that can be snugged by pushing down on a metal band around the loop. And the strap is stretchy, so it can be pulled over your ears and yet still fit snuggly. They are small, cheap and light so I keep several in my bag.

Some reviewers have commented the strap it too tight. They arrived ridiculously short. For my average size head I found I had to let them out to near their maximum length for modest pressure. Maybe if you have a big head or big hair they would be too small, but I find they work OK. Have used them for a few months now exercising without a problem.

(update) Disregard my big head comment above. I had been lengthening new bands just by shortening the end piece, which makes the band double across the whole head. I feel stupid admitting this, but I just realized that the band can be adjusted to be much longer (partially single and partially double elastic). Since being too snug was the only negative I had, I raised the rating from 3 to 4 stars.

With the price of prescription eyeglasses today, who can afford to lose them on a wild roller coaster ride or doing something that means those designer frames could be lost in a split second! I purchased this product for just those kind of reasons - I love my glasses and I can't afford to lose them in the pursuit of recreational activites - especially if it's over a holiday weekend or you're far from your optician. The Sports Band Eyeglass Holder kept my husband's glasses on his noggin throughout ALL of the rides at Hershey Park and also kept mine from slipping off my nose while bent over a pond doing some messy gardening stuff. Who cares if we looked like a little nerdy? They WORK and they're stretchy and adaptable - highly recommend them.

Pretty impressive

Appears to do the trick. You can make it snug or abit loose. For the price, cannot beat it.

Sports Elastic Eyeglass Holder

I had my nose broken and all my glasses fall down my face so this little gadget comes in handy when I want to do yard work or take walks or hikes and keep the glasses where they are supposed to be. It is inexpensive and does keep my glasses in place. I say "my" glasses because they have a downward curve on the end which keeps the band in place. If your glasses are straight for the most part the band may slip.

Cannot Find These Locally in NE Ohio.

>>>>>Nobody here locally has these type of sports bands--what's more is that they do not even know what these are when I inquired. And to think the last one of these I purchased was only a little over 3 years ago. Shucks, even places that make and sell glasses on site do not know what these type bands are. I like these over the elastic tubing the optical departments are pushing and their prices are outlandish. All in all, I am well satisfied that I was able to locate what I really wanted. I have been wearing this style of glass holder for some almost 30 years now--when the tubing types were not even known of back then. Lastly this Flents sports band is also a fantastic deal as they want upwards of $6.00 -- even at Wally World !!! Find this product: ...
